Cebu Bob Hughes Christian Academy is a ministry of Bible Baptist Church and was originally founded to serve the educational needs of its members. Because of its vision to develop individuals with strong Christian impact on the community, the Academy expanded its admission to non-church members. The Academy accepts applicants who belong to like faith denominations, on condition that the parents and the child adhere to and follow the standards and policies of Bible Baptist Church and the school.

CBHCA also accepts students who come from other schools using SOT system and from conventional schools that do not have Accelerated Christian Education or the School of Tomorrow System.

The school follows the 12-year education cycle (K-12). These are the RR or Reading and Readiness or Kindergarten 1. The ABCs with ACE and CHRISTI or the equivalent of Kindergarten 2, the basic elementary education of grades 1 to 6; Junior High School consisting of grade 7 to 10; and Senior High School consisting of grades 11 and 12. There are four STRANDS offered in Senior High including General Academic Strand (GAS); Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM); Accounting, Business and Management (ABM) and Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS).
